本門課程的內容建立AI系的學生基本的微積分知識。微積分用途廣泛，在人工智慧的各個領域經常出現，可說是基本必備知識。但人工智慧的領域中有非常多知識有待學生學習，為了最佳化學生在四年之內學習到各門各類知識，本課程只有規劃一學期，所講授的內容也僅限於微積分非常基礎的知識。

從牛頓和萊布尼茲開始，微積分已經發展350年了，歷史久遠。在本門課所涵蓋的基礎範圍內，已經非常的成熟而且鮮少變動了。由於微積分是各大專院校理工科基礎課程，講授及學習的人數都極多，很多學校都有公開課程可以自由學習，也有非常多免費教科書可以合法下載。

遲交每天會少掉10%的分數，但整學期有三天的寬限期，也就是說，如果你遲交三次，每次都是一天，不扣分。或是遲交一次，天數是三天，也不扣分。超過這三天的寬限期，就會開始扣分了。
